Pain management for treating all types of pain, including musculoskeletal, spinal and neuropathic pain disorders. With an accurate diagnosis and early intervention, we hope to help patients avoid spiralling into a state of chronic pain, or at least reduce the severity of pain, and improve patients’ quality of life. Minimally invasive procedures and proper use of medications are implemented to achieve those goals. For painful parts, pain management is employed as an aggressive conservative (nonsurgical) care program that helps to identify the source of pain and rehabilitate the patient as an alternative or follow-up to surgery.

The treatment of pain is guided by the history of the pain, its intensity, duration, aggravating and relieving conditions, and structures involved in causing the pain. The concept behind most interventional procedures for treating pain is that there is a specific structure in the body with nerves of sensation that is generating the pain. Pain management has a role in identifying the precise source of the problem and isolating the optimal treatment.
